I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

Oh man - I couldn’t recognize the restaurant from the pic, but the post says she went to Funke. That is a tremendous restaurant in Beverly Hills. I am actually mad - it will be forever sullied in my mind now. Ugh

Although I will note, not that long ago I attended a friend’s bday dinner at that same exact restaurant and it was held in a beautiful private room, so I know that that is an option there for such celebrations. I can’t help but wonder how Meghan, who seems to consider herself to be above all others, feels about celebrating her “heart, vision and magic touch” 🙄 at a (tiny) regular table among the “masses”, with nary a celebrity in sight. I don’t even think many of her supposed “friends” sent her bday wishes on SM (Oprah, Tyler Perry, etc.). She just keeps sliding…

Huh, I’m reminded of that report stating that H&M worked one hour a week for their Archewell Foundation. So, assuming Harry delivered that same level of commitment to Sentebale (founded in 2006)…that’s 988 hours of work over 19 years, so that comes to 5 and 3/4 months of full time work. Poor Harry must be devastated losing his role after all that “work”.

Huh, I’m reminded of that report stating that H&M worked one hour a week for their Archewell Foundation. So, assuming Harry delivered that same level of commitment to Sentebale (founded in 2006)…that’s 988 hours of work over 19 years, so that comes to 5 and 3/4 months of full time work. Poor Harry must be devastated losing his role after all that “work”.

I don’t believe he put even that small amount of effort into it. The only thing he did for Sentebale in recent years was participate in the annual celebrity polo fundraiser and I’m pretty sure Nacho organized that. All Harry had to do was show up to play polo and be a prince.

They have staff to handle Archewell. So an hour a week seems optimistic for that. Harry tells lies like his wife.

Hawry needs to sit down and shut up. Prior to an October 2024 visit he had not visited in SIX years.

Interestingly TW evidently demonstrated no interest even though the Charity was founded in honor of Diana.

Harry really is getting to taste what life is like without the shield of the royal family to protect him. Like most spoiled, pampered children, he is not used to getting things taken away from him. But now that his name no longer comes along with any royal cache (arguably his name actually comes along with nothing but baggage now), he actually needs to deliver. He needs to earn the respect of others, not just have it handed to him because of his title. But therein lies the problem… both Harry and Meghan have been called talentless more than once, so it’s easy to surmise that Harry really does being nothing positive to the table.

If he had stayed as a working member of the RF, the RF staff surely would have helped Harry with Sentebale, ensuring he, and thus the larger Royal Family, always looked good. But left to his own devices, it seems to be increasingly clear that Harry adds little to no value to any of his projects. So as his “star power” h continues to nose dive, so has his worth to these organizations.

The question is, when will he be stripped of the Invictus Games. I think everyone has grown quite tired of the me me me fashion show that that has become. Someone needs to bring it back to the wounded veterans.
