Some of the price increases for scarves on the German website:
90 cm (100% silk): 410 EUR -> 460 EUR
70 cm (100% silk): 305 EUR -> 340 EUR
100 cm (70% cashmere, 30% silk): 700 EUR -> 785 EUR
140 cm (70% cashmere, 30% silk): 1000 EUR -> 1110 EUR
triangle 188x94 cm (70% cashmere, 30% silk): 680 EUR -> 765 EUR
Yes, I just saw that in France too…

ok, 10 % but what the heck happened to the calculators when calculating the new triangle prices?

If these prices are for real, I don't know how long I will still consider buying more Hermès bags.

As much as I love and treasure the brand - and I've been a loyal costumer for years (like many of you here) - I strongly believe that there's a limit to everything. I know one of the reasons may be the inflation, but from what I've gathered from these prices, it seems that they've raised up to almost 20% only the popular items and have not been consistent with a single percentage among all categories.

I'm really glad that I managed to tick off a couple of bags from my wishlist last year.

Hermes has never done a flat percentage raise. In years prior many items actually decreased while others in the same category increased. Who knows what kind of algorithm they use but it’s completely typical for H.

Yes, this!

Wow my post about the expected price increase in 2022 has not aged well:eek:Since I can't quote it, here is the link if you are curious about it (https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/price-increase-in-2022.1048362/post-34907177)

I would have never expected such high price increases. I occasionally buy the same product as gifts for others but they were not available these past months in the boutique. Now they increased by around 20% - not so sure if I want to buy them again or search for new gift ideas.

If the price increase for some bags are really as steep as the IG posts suggests then I’d like to listen to the SA’s answers if customers are surprised by the new price and ask about it. Prior to Christmas I was window shopping and went into a jewelry store to ask about a certain piece. I was surprised given the huge price increase and asked about it since neither inflation nor the gold price justified the change in percentage. The SA just said "inflation makes everything more expensive" which forced me to say "Ah great, so your salary also increased" which of course wasn’t the case - there was radio silence afterwards.

From 2021-2022 most of the items went up by 5 % or am i wrong (f.a. Garden Party, costume jewellry)?
More or less - some products had a bit of an higher increase, but none of the products that I saw were over 10% last year.
