Price increase on UK site. It shows the old prices on the grid but once you click through to the item the new price is shown:
90 Scarves: £370 - £415
140 Shawls: £900 - £1000
Chaine d’ancre ring £1830 - £1900
Calvi card holder £275 - £300
Geegee charm £495 - £580

I’m quite shocked at the scarf prices jump of 12% and that of the charms at almost 20%. The jewellery price hike seems to be less steep.

Yeahhh hmmmm, ok, with this price increase I am out of the H game.

There is a limit for prices, which when exceeded then loses the reference to the product. Then you no longer pay for the quality or because of the design or - listen, Hermès, here you are far away from "good" - sustainability. Then the price is the interesting thing about the product, because it (the price) becomes a distinguishing feature. I'm no longer interested in something like that, never have been, a few exceptions excluded when I was young(er) and felt the need to "show of". I value my money too much to use it for something that has lost the reference to the actual value.

That comment could also appear in the "unpopular opinion" thread, it is certainly one.

I agree with you. I understand that they may have decided they will increase prices in line with inflation (although, 20%?!), but my salary has not increased at all so my discretionary income has reduced as a result and I’ll need to be more considerate with purchases. A bit disappointed that I haven’t had a quota bag wish fulfilled at all before the price increase but we’ll see what this year brings. That’s my individual circumstance. I appreciate that other H customers may not feel as affected by the price increase. I’ll be enjoying more of people’s purchases here in the forum from afar!

I'll keep my fingers crossed that your bag comes soon - even if it becomes painfully more expensive:(

I'm speaking from a comfortable place - I don't have so many things I'd still like to buy, so it's easy(er) to step back than if I still had quite a few wishes.

But I will be very happy about all your purchases and admire them duly!

An interesting question because I saw the Mini Kelly in Epsom going up "only" 8-9% while the one in Box leather went up 22%.

The CDC24 adjustable belt (Madame leather) went up only 10€, which is 1% while the Kelly adjustable belt (Epsom) went up 100€, which is 13%. The increases are all over the place...
