Price Increase Update

Hopefully this applies to SOs ordered in UK too? Is this an international policy implemented by Hermes HQ?

Not sure if it does, a friend picked up her SO late last year which she ordered in 2017 and she paid 2018 price...

I picked mine up mid Jan and paid the 2018 price. Was told it was because it was ready for pick up in Dec 2018. SO (B30) placed in Paris on Mar2018.

I have a feeling that there is no "new" policy to charge the "ordered by" price and that a few lucky people happened to get that lower price. I hope that I am wrong, but I have never known H to charge any price other than the price of the bag the year it is delivered.

It is probably just the price at the time the bag came in. My newest SO came in months ago and I picked it up just after the price increase and paid old price. Which honestly seems fair since we can't be expected to jump on planes immediately when a bag comes in.

I think when an SO comes in, it has it’s own unique corresponding SKU and that determines the price of the bag.

I was told the same - price not increased on previously placed RAC order. Appears to be true thank goodness!

Thankful to hear that. DH was annoyed to hear about the price change and I was worried about picking up my SO next week...

I just realized even the alligator CDC has got a big hit like all other exotics. It was $1900 and now $2100.
Lizard CDC was $1325 and now $1450.
Lizard KD was $800 now $880
Gator KD was $1025 now $1125
