It for sure won't stop me from buying beads...I love my bracelets so much. I did buy a few that were on my wishlist before the increase so I should be good for a while
Pat, I have to say again, your website is one of the best I've seen for Pandora. I just wish it was easier to ship to Canada![]()
^^Are you talking about the spring 07 release or something different? I just got the pink murano with the raised dots and I love it!!!
^I've got the red coming too (they weren't in stock yet so I prebought!) They're so fun!!!
How many bracelets do you have? If I had a store I'd be in trouble!!!
I have four bracelets - one in all silver, one with black murano with both silver & gold beads, another one with two tone beads with white glass and a gold bracelet that I want to re-do. All have safety chains - I am a strong believer in safety chains. It is the best investment for $30.
Would love to see pictures of bracelets!
Pat
I'm curious about the safety chains too...the clasps are so hard to open, are they really necessary? And, do they get tangled up? I wear two bracelets all the time, would they drive me crazy?
Hey Pat i wanted to ask cause im sort of confused about the safety chain,,, i dont quite see why its needed
i got my bracelet but had to send back just the bracelet to exchange it for a smaller size, as it was just a bit too big
but i did try it on and mess with it and i see the way the Bead closure closes, and its AWFULLY secure,,, i mean to get it open i had to dig my nail in the little slit and really pull! and i know the chain is there to keep it on you if it comes unclasped,,,but i dont see how in the WORLD it could become unclasped without someone like ripping it off your wrist!just hoping you can tell me how that would happen that would make the safety chain necessary cause it seemed very hard to open not something that would slip,,,
thanks!
I don't particularly like the safety chain. I think the clasp is secure enough that you don't need one. I've had my bracelets for about 3 years now and have not had a problem with the clasp and I wear them everyday. Besides I hate the fact that you have to take all your beads off just to put the safety chain on. Plus if you're not careful, the safety chain can screw off the bracelet which defeats the whole purpose of it in the first place. The only way you can prevent that from happening is by putting a clip after the safety chain. But that makes the bracelet look goofy.I'm curious about the safety chains too...the clasps are so hard to open, are they really necessary? And, do they get tangled up? I wear two bracelets all the time, would they drive me crazy?
I just wanted to let you ladies know that on May 14th there is going to be a price increase of 13% on all Pandora jewelry. That I think is quite an increase. You can at some locations put items aside now and do layaway with the current price of the beads.
Call me nuts and I have commented on this on a prior post but this increase thing is I believe more greed then price of the item to make the product. Gold maybe, as it is trading at 1369.00 still down from a high but silver has dropped trading at 28.70 I would love to know what one charm weighs and then calculate the actual price of the product. I'm sure they are making a profit but what will happen is instead of selling a few charms to people at a time more often they will be selling one with a profit decrease over time so greed will be the overall factor. Supply and demand and since Pandora has really taken off they are using this to their advantage. But for many cost becomes a factor and they will seek out other lines that will provide the same fun as Pandora use to causing one of two things to happen. Pandora will start having sales or they will lose business.
