I am in the USA, the word from my SA is NO price increase on bags.

Same thing as I heard from my store manager, no increase in the US this year as business is not doing well - Hermes stores in the US are losing a lot of international clients due to the strong dollar
Hi all, this is exactly what my SA stated in her email and I can only hope that she does not browse this thread,
"I believe we will be having a price increase. I don't have an official word on that but it's probably going to be rolled out by each category."
I take that to mean in her language that yes, there will be a price increase ~ when, which categories and how much, I do not know.

Given this good news re Hermes sales last quarter from Reuters today there is a strong possibility of a price increase. http://mobile.reuters.com/article/idUSL5N1FT1DR
Was informed by my SA(s) in Sloane Street London, New Bond Street London that there will be a price increase on everything!
For USA, I was told that certain categories would increase, but not all. The increases are not across the board, for example: some items in housewares will increase, others will not. US increases usually begin end of Jan and are implemented by category. I don't have any specific information on items, but was told that they were unaware of any increases on silks and bags. What I was told was a bit vague, so perhaps they are still determining?
The discrepancy between US and European prices over the past several years has been crazy. I've continued to purchase bags from my US boutique, but it's pretty painful to pay US prices when Euro prices are so much better. Of course, there's no guarantee of getting what one wants in Paris, but by the looks of the Paris thread, it sure seems like bags are more plentiful for walk-ins at FSH these days.

Do you think it's possible that some leather goods increased while others didn't? I feel like the silk ins increased but the bearn wallet didn't.

I went to H two days ago to try to buy a specific shawl and my SA was off that day and no one could help me, so I left. Now that shawl has gone up quite a bit. Our mousseline prices are now $400 more than they are in the US (as of today)!
