Yes, I bought from Paris but I am in Europe, so I have no idea what is the price in the States.
The process was very smooth and easy, but again, I am within the EU so no taxes and so on.
Americans save a bit on VAT—like 75% of the VAT paid, after the processing fee. It also depends on where the dollar is, but there are definite savings. We have a Madison Goyard in New York, but I expect their inventory to be forever challenged for the popularity it enjoys.

I just ordered an Artois MM from BG and it couldn’t have been easier. They will ship 2nd day air (and didn’t charge me for shipping), I was able to use my store card, and the salesperson was a delight! While ordering in Paris would cost hundreds less, until we can travel again this seemed completely painless and a joy. My Artois MM in Black and Tan was $1945.
Ooh—that’s the one I like best! Perhaps I should run over to Bergdorf’s first!

I was just wondering this! It makes no sense, because it couldn't be easier to call the Chicago boutique (inside Neiman Marcus) and order over the phone; they ship it to you, and you save on sales tax! (Except if you live in a state with a Goyard boutique, which doesn't apply to many of us) The process was so easy for me. Franklyn at the Chicago store helped me. It was such a pleasant experience. I cannot believe I almost paid $600 over retail for a used bag on The Real Real!
