Preference for LV made in France/USA/Spain...??

Why are some people chosing a bag that is made in france over one made in the states? Just curious..

I think most of my pieces are made in france, a few made in spain .

I have no idea. I have bags, shoes and accessories made in every country LV's are made. It makes no difference to me.

Personally, I prefer one "Made in France" because after all, they are a French brand
When I was younger (and a bit clueless, I should say ) I went into a LV store in Paris with my mum and I was a little bit appalled to see several items stamped "Made in Spain" seeing as to how their roots are in France!

^ITA... I prefer my French passion to be from it's country of origin. Example, I don't buy Coach anymore because it's not manufactured in the USA! I'm a country brand snob!

I like bags that are made in France because it is the birthplace of Louis Vuitton after all. And it feels more special, because it's not really that difficult to get a made in USA bag.

I never understood this either, but I really do think it's a matter of preference. I used to think that the color of my US bags were prettier than my French bags, but I realize that the French ones come in a variety of shades (from pale yellow to tan yellow to bright sunflower yellow). It still doesn't make a difference to me.

Still, I think there's something very novel about Spain. I don't have any bags made from Spain; the only thing that I have that's from Spain is my cles.

It makes absolutely no difference to me. I don't think I would have even paid attention had there not been a discussion about it here. Two of my bags (speedy 30 and BH) were made in USA, and everything else I have was made in France.

I actually don't have a preference to where my LV bags were made as long as they are LV. I can see why someone would prefer one to be made in France. It add a nice touch to it. If it makes the owner feel even better, great!!

Me --- I'm just happy I have some LVs to enjoy!

I never knew that not all items were made in France until I joined this forum... All the items we have here are stamped "Made in France"...

And I hope the Pochette Accessoires which my bf's sis got me is stamped "Made in France" as well...

I just bought a speedy 25 in San Francisco, CA. It says made in France. My other speedy was bought in Palo Alto, CA and it said made in USA. Is this right? THanks everyone in advance!
