pre-owned tiffany

My hubby bought me the classic brilliant solitaire for me from e-bay and it's 100 % authentic. He saved a TON of money and Tiffany never asks whether I'm the original owner when I take it in for cleaning or inspection. I've had this ring for ten years now.

I bought the ring below off eBay for 50% off retail price. Its a 3 carat amethyst sparkler with a 0.03 carat diamond in the center. It only came with the velvet box but when i took it to Tiffany's for cleaning they wrapped it up and put it in a blue box and bag.

I was really happy as i felt it was almost like getting it brand new since they wrapped it all up for me 😁

Your ring is gorgeous. Congratulations! I just bought a vintage Tiffany ring. Good to know I can take it to them for a cleaning!

If possible, get the seller to meet you at Tiffany. Ask for a complimentary cleaning. They will only refuse to clean it if the ring is not an authentic one.

Not sure about the upgrade policy but I bet if you are willing to upgrade to a new ring that is extremely expensive, many times the price of your existing ring, I am sure they would be willing to work with you.
I'm not sure about this... My understanding was that you had to be the original purchaser (you don't need a receipt if you've purchased it there, they would have it on file) and that your new ring has to be 2x the price of the original. I'm pretty positive they would not let you walk in with a pre-owned one and use it towards the value of a new more expensive one.
