I just noticed that Overstock.com carries pre-owned watches. Is Overstock.com reputable in this area? It seems an interesting option!

On watch forums it's causing some puzzlement. Nobody knows who's authenticating the goods, and I've seen posts stating that a purchase has turned out to date from the 1990s. You may not really know what you're getting. For something like a Rolex I think it's not very appealing, without more details and guarantees.

Most places that sell preowned, tune up the watch & sell with a warranty.
Wonder if they are buying Rolex's that are no longer being sold & other places won't buy second hand.
Be careful. Buyer beware.
