I received the bag yesterday - while the color is great, I could smell it before I even opened the package. That horrible chemical smell that a few others here have experienced, and that PLG has accepted a return/exchange for. OMG, it made my eyes water by the time I got the package open! I've filed a SNAD with eBay; seller says I'm wrong. LOL. Whatever way it goes, bag goes back to the seller or to Goodwill.

I am (sort of) glad that I can now identify with that smell - holy God, that's an awful thing.

That is awful. I had a green bag a while ago and it didn’t have an odor. I can’t even wear perfume so that would totally set off my asthma.

Me to. The only issue i had with an “Almost Perfect” cognac tote was the thing color transferred to every outfit i wore. Not sure if the leather was just not treated properly but it ruined a coat so i have a Grizzly i have not used yet and i will test that one. It looks like there is maybe more protection on the grizzly but the cognac was a mess but i love the bags. Maybe i will stick with the honey

I have a cognac work crossbody tote I've been using for over a year and a half with no issues. I bought it from the "Almost Perfect" line within issues. I haven't observed any color transfer issues with PLG.
