That's really pretty!!! Thanks for sharing! I'm tempted by a mini env wallet in Storm on the 'bay to match The Unicorn I just found but ... I dunno. I guess I should apply my own wisdom. They work really well. Also it is cards not Cars.lolView attachment 5265002View attachment 5265003

I have not been crazy about some of the newer colors. Though I adore the colors I do have.View attachment 5270793View attachment 5270795View attachment 5270796View attachment 5270797
@indiaink The minis arrived! Sunflower, Kiwi, Sangria & black. I like the smooth leather more than the pebbled. The green is more of a leaf or lighter avocado than kiwi I was hoping it leaned toward chartreuse but sadly no. Sunflower is nice pleasant amber toned yellow. Sangria is is a deep wine color absent of the brown tone that make up some deep reds. Overall I like the bags, I will keep the black as a companion to my large PLG camp tote and gift the others. The black is my favorite because of the smooth leather and the matte finish the others are nice but I can live without them.
Thanks for the photos - I've been knee-deep in alligators and haven't had time. That Sunflower shade is not as 'yellow' as I expected, but on the plus side it's not crazy bright. I, too, prefer the smooth leather. I agree with your assessment of Kiwi!View attachment 5270793View attachment 5270795View attachment 5270796View attachment 5270797

My favorite is the smooth leather in black IMO it works well with the rustic quality of the bags. I think a dark khaki and olive drab would also be beautiful in the PLG smooth leather. Thanks for the photos - I've been knee-deep in alligators and haven't had time. Absolutely love this description - 'rustic'. It suits. I once thought about using one of my edge sealers and sealing all the raw edges, and nope, that's hard work on something that's already put together. My favorite is the smooth leather in black IMO it works well with the rustic quality of the bags. I almost took fine grain sand paper to the edges on mineAbsolutely love this description - 'rustic'. It suits. I once thought about using one of my edge sealers and sealing all the raw edges, and nope, that's hard work on something that's already put together.![]()
Now you see - what true decently finished leather really is. It can be inexpensive, just without all the bells and whistles (and ‘branding’). Enjoy! Kiwi is very pretty! My first PLG items - Medium CB tote and small wallet in Kiwi. I don't normally like green but became obsessed with this color when I stumbled upon this thread. This bag is so cute and surprisingly fits all of my stuff despite being on the smaller side. I was going to get the large classic tote at first but I prefer the shape of the medium CB and the fact that it has matching handles. I'm honestly shocked how much I like this bag and the leather. I've bought significantly more expensive/fancy bags lately that I've been completely disappointed with and sent right back.
