I normally would say Chanel but the Ferragamo is stunning!

I vote for Ferragamo's Gancio. I think Chanel's shoulder bag is too squarish (just me).

Kat, I try to be in your shoes. I like variety in handbags. Gancio's shape is feminine and very different from your currently owned Chanel small tote. PLUS! However, the color is also gold & you already have a gold Chanel bag. Would you consider another color for Gancio? -)

The one I have on hold is in black with silver hardware.oops ... should have read all the posts first before responding.

The Ferragamo is more appealing to me but Chanel is more classic. If you already have a Chanel, I'd say go for the Ferragamo.
