Polene Beri Discussion Thread

i emailed polene to ask about a repair for the polene beri. I had it for a couple of years (2?) and the top hardware is being pulled apart like this. i am waiting to hear back from them on whether they will do it and how much it would cost. I have to say i am a bit disappointed that the hardware would come out like this. I don't even use the bag that often.
That's crazy. I hope you get an answer soon. That's a very serious issue.

I'm not counting on a quick response at all given all the terrible things I've heard about their customer service. I think the quality of their leather is good but I've seen so many posts about their hardware falling off...

The crazy part is that I actually leave the bag unbuckled a lot because of convenience so it really didn't take a lot of wear and tear for it to come off like this

I tried the Beri before as well. I got it in black with chain strap. The first time I took it out for a spin I hated it. I love the design and how small it is, but I hated the buckle and closure. I returned it along with the Sept and Umi.

I personally have never had any customer service issues, but I've only ever emailed them about bag returns.

They got back to me and will be charging me 33 eur for the repair because i don't have a receipt for the purchase of the bag. It will including shipping the bag to spain and back. it is not unreasonable.
