LV newbie so hopefully I don't steer you wrong. Lol. The Pochette does detach, and Eva not completly. I have read that some ladies detach one side and slip it under the zipper and tuck it away. That still seems messy to me. Like all my stuff is going to get tangled. What worries me to is that if I don't tuck it, it will get the plate scratched. That is why I am leaning towards the pochette and getting the 2 straps on the side. Most likely non LV. Plus I am not a clutch kinda gal. I can imagine leaving it all over the place. Lol. I think this helped me make up my own mind. I am getting the pochette. Lol.I have never really been a fan of the handheld gold chain hanging off the eva bag. It just seems messy to me. Does anyone know if it is detachable? If it weren't for that little gold chain I would be all for the eva. Does the pochette nm come with a detachable shoulder strap?
I am in the same boat. I had 4 pochettes and am down to 2...so why would I buy another one when I rarely use the 2 I have left? Because I don't have one in Damier!
Lots of great discussion about the eva vs. pochette, but what about the damier trousse cosmetic back with the strap? Any thoughts? It is practically a pochette?
