I really love halos too between the two def. the one with the halo but neither design is my fave, in my humble opinion I have seen nicer halo designs, I find these somehow too busy, I love the ring in the Avatar of whoops and some Tiffany designs too among others. But between these two definitely the halod one.

I agree the 2510 is me. I have been obessesing over it for weeks now.... I just got thrown off course when he suggested trying the halo. I think it is too much with the halo.

I voted for no halo even though I adore halos and my own engagement ring is a halo. 
My reasoning is, I think if you're going to do a halo, it should be the main design feature and the rest of the setting should be pretty simple. With the one you pictured, there is too much going on with the band for the halo to stand out, so the halo adds absolutely nothing to the design.
I would say if you want a halo, as others have said before me, I would go with a completely different setting/ring.
