definitely without.
Thanks!
I think its beautiful and more substantial, with the halo.
But gorgeous, either way![]()
The halo def gives it a little larger appearance...

I actually prefer the non-halo setting!
thanks ame!

In that case it's a fabulous ring on it's own and I say get it! The matching band even looks great on it. You don't need the halo to show that it's a beautiful ring! Congratz! Tacori *swoon*
Also, careful for the side pave on the crescent collection I know before they had quality issues with it but not sure if it applies anymore?
Hiya,
I say with halo![]()
As much as I like halos, I actually prefer this setting without.
I'm all about Tacori! And I'm fully about halos! Being that my setting is a tacori micropave halo!...
BUT!!! in this setting style I like it without the halo.
Had it had a thinner shank or a different style I would have said to halo it because it is so signature Tacori to have one! The halo and the large shank just make it really mixed and too busy.
IF you are fully set on a halo I would explore the simply tacori or dantela collections. However, i LOVE the crescents without the halo.
I prefer the setting without the halo.
I also vote without the halo. The focus is more on your center stone that way!
Thanks - the band is a whole other story! LOL They have yet to have all in stock at the same time.ush:
What quality issues do you speak of?![]()
I didn't even go with a matching band! lol I didn't like the way it looked with my ring for some reason?
When I first started shopping for my Tacori ring I was researching potential quality issues with the ring in terms of the metal used and the melee. I started finding articles and blog posts from owners of the crescent collection who had problems with the melee falling out. They said it was most common with the platinum crescent line than the white gold if i remember correctly. Because the diamonds on the side of the band rub against the wedding band and the way they are set, it made them loose and started to fall out. I think for a while people were recommending white gold for this setting because it would not bend as much? (not sure how true this is). I ended up with a plain shank for durability reasons and because my shank is only 1.8mm. You could also ask Tacori to not use the side melee to prevent rubbing? I've seen some people request this.
However, good news is that Tacori will replace any lost melee for the lifetime of the ring as long as you don't void the lifetime warranty by significantly altering the ring or letting an unauthorized person work on the ring.
Thanks for the info! I will certainly ask about this. I was originally considering plat but I honestly dont see much of a benefit... if any? What is yours?
Actually the jeweler did recommend WG over plat on this setting........
Between the two options, I would choose the halo because it's brighter and prettier, IMO.
I think a bigger halo might be another style to look into as well.![]()
Without Halo
It is already such an elaborate ring, the halo one is so distracting I can't keep my eyes on one detail. I say without!
hmmm both rings are gorgeous but I really like the no halo..to me the center stone looks bigger and more stand outish without the halo
gf sitting beside me likes no halo too![]()
Both rings are stunners. I adore Tacori. I know I told you my jeweler was inspired by Tacori when my setting was made. I would go without the halo. I think that halos seem all the rage right now and halo-less is much more timeless and classic. (Now don't get me wrong I love halos. I wear my birthstone ring in a gorgeous halo setting....but I dont prefer it in an ering.)
Can't wait to see what you select!
i voted with halo
no halo - no way. The setting w/o completely stands on it's own - too fussy w/ a halo IMO.
