Yes, I absolutely wear it on my shoulder - I must mention that I live in Miami, so no coat gets in the way here. I think I could still wear it with my leather coat but a bulky winter coat would probably not be comfortable. I love the size of my Saleya but because it's a pretty large bag, I think I would opt for the Cabas piano, but I'd have to try it on to be sure it's not too small.

Piano is really small IMO. Mezzo is very close to Saleya's size (13" x 19"). Anyhow, good luck and let us know what you end up with!!!:D I don't know WHY they discontinued Alto:rant: ! I LOVE that bag!!! I don't know what I would ever do without it!!! It's been travelling the globe with me for years!

Alto is NOT an everyday bag. It's great for overnight trips and travel in general. It CAN get heavy pretty fast. I think Mezzo's size is just PERFECT.

Oooooh, I didn't even think about how heavy it could get (especially with all the stuff you are going to fit in it). Yes, overnight bag it is. Thanks for mentioning that. I would've never thought about it!
