Hi - there are others of the same age online - it’s a pretty distinctive G and I have a lovely navy suede which I’ve been trying to date myself. Wierd thing is that between my navy one and a black and brown one online currently, all of which are the same bag as each other (and the same hardware as yours) they have 3 different stamps inside - the brown has the embossed shield, the navy the embossed made in italy with cursive gucci and the black the gold plate with shield. If anyone can explain this I’d appreciate it. I cant figure out if it’s a transitional period or different factories.
Looks early 80s to me but I’m not an expert. @papertiger could help? Yours is gorgeous btw, great colour

Thanks - I have always assumed the brass plate with Gucci and shield is later but a bit confused as to when the embossed shield came in/out of use. I have seen the embossed made in Italy and cursive Gucci on a lot of early bags so I’m assuming this is the earliest model. Is that right? Can you accurately date a bag from looking at these logos? Thanks PT

It's just a mid-90s TF for Gucci horse-bit belt. These are just D ring and the letter strap is usually patent.

Hi,

I found this bag at an estate sale! I'm super excited to have found it at such a great price, although I have limited information about when it was made. My best guess would be in the 90s to early 00s, though I'm not entirely sure since most of the Tom Ford era bags I've seen online have the square piston clasp instead.

It is made of a black smooth leather and its interior is a suede or suede-like material with the logo.

Does anyone know what year this bag came out? Hoping someone knows more about it than I do haha. TYIA
