Can anybody tell me if this bag is REAL, if it's vintage, help me identify the bag and what collection it might have come from. I really need help here.

Bought this from a 2nd hand stall for $5.
It's very light and the inside leather is cracking already but the surface is still really good. Can someone help me identify this bag please.. I tried googling it but no picture of it comes up.

I have a feeling your bag is a fake. Im sorry. I've seem similar styles like this in Chinatown with the stamped gucci name on plastic looking shiny leather. Maybe a second opinion would help clarify. Where did you purchase this?

It's prob a vintage pigskin document holder (can't tell the date without seeing the inside). The shield charm should be clipped to a zip-pull on the inside of the bag NOT the outside.

It's a mid-90s shoulder bag with no particular name. Total bargain though :tup:

I acquired this from a lady who has a huge sale twice a year with many, and I'm talking MANY purses good high-end designer used purses. I go to each of her sales, and have acquired some name-brands. It's a dog-eat-dog sale with all those women going straight for those purses. When I saw Gucci, I just grabbed it. I have acquired a couple of nice Coach purses from her also, even found a Prada, but not sure on that one either, but it's SO CUTE. May have to add another post on the Prada. When I got home I looked at this Gucci and realized that it had never been used, brand new. So that is why I'm at a loss as to if it's real. Chinatown, that is so interesting. I appreciate you writing me. Who knows if I have the real thing or not, but you're probably right, a fake. Maybe somebody out there has seen a similar one like you have. This purse is a total mystery to me because I am not a expert on designer bags. I JUST LOVE PURSES.
