Age, how much it was originally, colour, material, how rare
Thank you❤️
Believed to be a marquese flower tote?
Marquise Intrecciato Tote. Colour is Noce. From Resort 2006. Not rare, necessarily, just made this particular bag for one season. Was probably somewhere between $1800-$2000

Hey, does somebody know the year/ name/ price of this beautiful bag? Is it Tomas Maier ? It only came with a short strap but had extra d rings and I don’t know the purpose for it.maybe bag charms? I bought an extra (perfect matching) bottega veneta shoulder strap, for more convienince. 🔥or did it originally came with the two strap options? I have no clue. Thank you❤️
It’s a Cervo Loop Shoulder Bag by the looks of it. Did not come with two straps. Colour is maybe Dusty Rose or Deco Rose and the trim is Baccara Rose. From around 2018, I think.

Hello!

Does anyone know more about this Knot bag? I bought it from a vintage reseller in Finland because I fell in love with its color and the metal corners. The reseller didn't know much about the bag, only that it is made from crocodile or alligator skin and that the corners are either silver-plated or real silver.

It doesn’t really matter to me if the corners are real silver or not, but it did make me curious about the bag’s history. The reseller mentioned that the original price of the bag might have been 6,000 euros, though that seems a bit high without proof of real silver. I'm not very familiar with exotic leathers, so it could be that the skin itself is (hopefully) worth the investment. The bag didn’t come with any CITES paperwork, dust bag, or authenticity card, so I’m a bit lost here.

Thank you in advance to anyone who might know more about this bag! I’m very happy with it, but considering the price I paid, I’d love to learn more about it. :smile:IMG_7760.jpeg

I have seen similar ones pop up on ebay, but none in this beautiful condition! That black croc leather against the basket weave edges in silver looks so beautiful! I am not sure of the original price or the year, but we have some amazing experts here that will confirm in a bit!

Just wanted to say congratulations on a SUPERB find!!

Thank you so much!

I am forever a black and silver girlie, and when I saw this one, I was sold! This was my first Bottega bag and I must say that the quality is amazing and the inside leather is in newlike condition :3

Hello dear BVettes!

I just received this large Loop and was wondering, if you can help identify the color/year? It's such a gorgeous purple. I would really appreciate it. Please let me know, if you need anything else. Thank you!

This is as close as I'll get to the actual color.

Happy New Year, BVettes! I'm taking NYE easy at home, and looking on the preloved sites. Would anyone recognize this color combo? Fashionphile says it's from 2008.
Sorry, never seen anything like this before. I’ve see two-tone bags, but not with a pattern like that. If I didn’t know better, I’d say it looks like someone’s art project - but again, I have no idea.

I've never seen a two-tone treatment like this one before either. I love the color combination, though.
I remember seeing this pic of a tone on tone Ball Bag years ago, and have never seen one anywhere since. Kinda similar?
It's hard to tell for sure, but I see some similarity.

I have a weakness for tan brown bags. I'm tempted to buy this one and have @V0N1B2 take a look at the authenticity tags. Fortunately, we have a Fashionphile here in Scottsdale now for easy returns if I should need to do so.

Thank you both for your input!

ETA: Nevermind, I just saw "cigarette odor" in the description, and that's a deal breaker for my sensitive nose. I'll be curious if someone here on TPF gets it. I'd like to know more about it.

I’ve never seen a bag like this but it’s probably from about 2005. BV did that sort of treatment on Venetas and a tote (that was, I think referred to as the Regent Tote) around that time.
Thanks V0N, I’m guessing it’s men’s messenger of some sort, the strap is adjustable and fairly wide. What do you think I should offer for it?:hrmm:
