I saw that too, it is one of the animal charms. Was surprised! Haven't seen those out in forever. For those of you looking for charms, today the Chicago boutique had the brown colored horse charm. This is the round charm on a small silver-tone chain, not the Rodeo.
What about a bargain moussie from a loved TPFer?This is a strange request - I would love to get my mother a CSGM as a gift/peace offering/show of affection. However, she is not a luxury goods type person and probably would appreciate it more in a show of my spending money on her and obvs the comfort of how lovely and soft they are. Plus, she has severe visual impairment. She also is not the kind to take good care of a shawl - it will probably end up in the dog bed intermittently.
Basically, I would love to find a pretty and soft CSGM or poncho that is well-loved and inexpensive. Pulls would be unimportant. Small stains that are subtle, probably unimportant. I wouldn't want to spend anywhere near retail or buy a HG as it is likely to be abused.
I hope that doesn't sound horrible! Or like I'm cheaping out on my mother. It's more as a symbol. She appreciated a plaid English wool cape I bought her while on a trip, and I wanted to show her I'm thinking of her without getting her something she would never use or something so practical it is boring.
I'm thinking in the $500 range.
How about this oneThat's so pretty, but she would do better with something cozy and casual. Um, I may consider the mousse for myself though!
thanks, sold already. I will keep lookingI think jemzandjewels had one
Here's one spotted on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hermes-Scar...611?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4d30d94ac3Hi,
I know this is a tough find but I am looking for "Turandot" scarf as a wedding gift for my nephew who is going to marry an asian gal this december. As someone who understands a little of Mandarin, I can see that this particular design has a chinese couple in wedding attire and the word "wedding" is among the chinese characters.
Thank you for any reliable lead !!
