It is very difficult to find an exact Bal beige. Nothing is impossible but while you search, if you are game, our very kind Kerryisntreal has posted a step by step tutorial for dying leather tassels along with a link to purchase natural colored ones.

Ha! Just realized that you said it's a 2012 bag. It should have a color code as the second number on the back of the inside tag. You might be able to use that number to identify the color and some of the Balenciaga Boutiques have a store of tassels. I know up to several years ago, it was possible to buy tassels from a few over the phone.

Thanks so much for your reply! I'm actually still waiting for this bag to get delivered because I purchased like 2 days ago so I will def use that color code on the back once it arrives and hopefully it will make my search a bit easier. I have been considering dyeing my own tassels but I'll be honest I'm not great w DIY jobs so it's more than likely I'll mess up or it'll look horrible haha!

:yes: Yes! It would be great to find them. If you have a photo of the back of the tag you can start searching before you receive the bag. I seem to remember that the NY store will not sell extra tassels unless you’ve purchased the bag from them, but several in Southern California are more generous.

Hi everyone, I’m looking for a raffia/ rattan/ straw bag (not sure what the style is called!) in a neutral colour way like natural, black, brown, navy (or any combination of these). I’m in the U.K. so ideally from somewhere that ships to an address here. I’ve seen some on eBay but they’re in jazzy colours which isn’t my vibe :shocked::biggrin:.
