Please help me decide which one: Dior Saddle OR Bottega Veneta?

Dior saddle is very pretty. I owned the original one way back when it was first offered in the blue logo denim. I didn't know it would make a return.

If I were you, I'd choose it in calf leather in a color you use most (black or some kind of neutral) and use it as a daily horse. Because of the shape it won't hold a lot (you have to be strategic on how you place your items). But it can get lots of use. Think of it as a smallish bag.

The BV piece is just not even attractive. Sorry, but that's my 2 cents.

I would also buy the saddle in another color. Or a non padded cassette.

I e tried on both in the store and the Casette didn’t cut it for my petite frame. I feel it’s really meant for a taller bigger frame. I was also a little underwhelmed by its slightly clunky feel (IMO. ) I love the saddle. It looked very chic. And my personal favs are the limited edition gradient shades in the saddle ) Hope you find the right one for you!

I'm not a big fan of the cassette tbh, but I get that the shape of the cassette is easier to use than the saddle.

Which one did OP end up buying? I am considering the mini saddle in black.. I once owned a burgundy medium saddle when it first came out but I sold it because the colour is quite seasonal and doesnt quite work for my wardrobe and to me it was dated. But recently I am eyeing on the mini saddle (not micro).
