Please Help Me Decide How To Use PCE

I did try on a pair of "model shoes" at the boutique so I *think* they will fit. To be honest, I am really a practical girl at heart. I have some great boots, but heels are not something I tend to spend money on because I have fat feet and some brands and styles hurt like heck. I have bought Coach before and they seemed like a good fit, but I hate to spend that much to find out they are deathly painful two hours into a work event. But these are so nice, I might consider keeping a flask in my snakeskin purse to dull the pain. :roflmfao:

Okay, not really.

Lolol....whatever works because those are killer shoes!

There will be another PCE you know, I would wait and see when you can see the items in person.

Yes, but I am over 40. Geez, who know when or why I will get knocked off the list!!! I never did get an invitation to FOS. Such inconsistent policies and it is frustrating!

You don't even know the shoes will fit. I say, go ahead and order both the Preston and the shoes and then once you have them all, you can decide.

This. I have found that there are bags that I think I will love, only to find out in person that I don't care for them, and then also bags that I never thought I would like that I would now say are favorites. One can never tell until one has seen something in person. The shoes are gorgeous, but what if they are the most uncomfortable shoes ever? Too hard to tell without putting them on!

Side question: Do Coach shoes wear well? I have only one pair from a great clearance rack at Macy's, which I have not worn much due to winter weather, so I don't know if they are worth the high cost in terms of how long they will last. I wanted the Lawrence Pink Deco heel real bad, but never pulled the trigger at the show sale because I didn't know if they would last, same with the Tabitha flat today on FOS. I typically don't spend much on shoes because I wear them to death fairly quickly.

You are absolutely correct and I feel the same way. Hence my dilemma. I am a see, touch, and feel kind of gal. God that doesn't sound good.

I kill shoes. I mean absolutely annihilate them!! I am hoping that the broader heel will hold up better than a stiletto type of shoe. I bought some cute, strappy VERY HIGH metallic heels from Coach several years ago, but I only wore them a couple of times. They are very comfortable and have held up well. I wore them on a girls' trip to Vegas to a pole dancing class and my feet were the only part of me that didn't scream in pain the next morning. How's that for a Coach shoe endorsement! :D

Anytime you are deciding amongst items that you haven't seen in person, I say get them all and compare IRL. Maybe you will love them all, and then you can skip next month. Maybe you will hate one, and your decision will be easier. Either way, Coach's return policy is generous enough that it is best to explore your options IRL.

LMAO!!

Well, you probably know what I'd say. :D Not a clue how true it is, but I returned a pair of the Python Wendy (?) shoes to the outlet last night. You can see them on Coach.com, full price. I ordered them on FOS. Anyhow, I said to the girl, can you believe these are still in the boutique? She said that she'd heard that they were trying to move all shoes out of the boutiques and into outlets. I don't understand why they'd release them with their seasonal releases if that were the case though? Btw, the ones I returned were gorgeous, I just couldn't reason spending even the killer deal of $150 on shoes. I'm not a shoe spender, but if I worked outside the house it may be different.

If it were me I'd have to order everything and decide that way! I've been fooled by Coach DD pics SO many times I refuse to decide on things I'm considering until I see them in person. I've found this especially true with embossed exotic items actually...sometimes the croc or snake designs look "blah" in a pic and then incredible in person where the texture really shines, and vice versa of course.

So, my vote is to order the Preston and the shoes with your PCE and compare everything in person. While the tote seems so practical for you now, maybe practical will seem less important if you're really wowed by the others in person. Whatever you decide, I hope you love it!

You need to send that picture to Coach! That's flippin priceless! I wish I had your legs!

Someone mentioned the Tabitha. I have two pair and if you look for any of my mod shots (I post mod shots on what bag are you carrying today as well), you'll see about 75% of the time I'm wearing a pair of them. I have the Pewter and the Navy. During the 30% off! I ordered the blush but they were too small. I took them in yesterday and they switched them for me. She actually ordered what I needed from FOS (I was afraid she wouldn't be able to order them any longer since I had known they'd gone to FOS). Since I paid about $69 and would have had to pay over $100 with shipping on FOS, she price adjusted them for me. I can tell you, I'm not easy on my shoes. The metallic are definitely stiffer than the blush which was why I had ordered a smaller size in the regular patent. I'm a typical 7-7.5 in shoes. DH had bought the Navy for me in a 7 for Christmas but they were tight. I thought they'd be ok until I went in and tried the pewter on in the 7.5 and realized those fit perfectly. I eventually stretched the 7s enough that they now fit PERFECTLY and the 7.5 are slightly loose. I still wear the crap out of both of them and the blush is a true nude on me, it's beautiful.

One more tip, check 6PM.com. They have them black and bronze. :)

Haha. I'm not sure Vegas pole dancers are Coach's target audience!! :-) but who knows. Maybe. Do they even know?

Thanks for the sizing info. When I tried them on in the store, they only had a half size bigger than what I wear and they were a tad too big. I am hoping the 6 1/2's work for me. There shoe sizing is all over the place. I am keeping my fingers crossed that the 6 1/2's are it for me. Or that they will stretch enough to fit. i have a shoe stretching thingy I got for Christmas, but it seems kind of stupid to be manipulating a $300+ (without PCE) pair of shoes to fit. Darn it, for that price, they should be massaging my feet as well!! I am not really a "shoe girl" either, but these are so gorgeous. I really am hoping they work out and don't make me limp!
