Please help me decide between 2 sapphire rings

Hi ladies,

I have been trying to decide between these 2 Ceylon sapphires: really confused! Price is about the same (#2 is $200 more than #1)

#1 is 3.5 ct sapphire, and I love the mounting better, but the diamonds are small, although good quality, the stone is very good clarity, but just a bit shallow and see-through, shade is a bit green
#2 is 1.5 ct sapphire, but sort of deeper and better faceted stone, color is more like cornflower, much better diamonds around, and it's a LeVian piece

Would love to hear your opinions - bigger or smaller one?! TIA!!

I personally like # 1 a lot better because I love that setting. Both sapphires are gorgeous though...it's going to be a tough decision! Good luck!

I agree. I love the first one! Despite the bigger diamonds in the second piece, I think the first one is more refined looking, more vintage looking and overall a nicer looking piece.

I agree, I love the first one. It has a cleaner shape to it than the other one does. I sapphires, they're my birth stone. Congrats on whichever one you pick!

The second setting is bulkier. It steals attention from the center stone IMO.
