My Gf has the ring and she loves it (and it looks great on her too.) Just know it'll eventually get scuffed and scratched but alas, that happens to everything! But it'll def show more than on the bracelet. Despite that, I choose the ring! If my gf didn't have it already, i would've gotten it!

Edit: Oops, didn't see you'd get both. I like the vca more than tiff

it's going to be an anytime piece. dinners, shopping, etc. i go out 2x a week for those.

But in this case, I'd go for the Tiffany Atlas hinged bangle.

I went to the Cartier boutique today and tried on the ring - it was really nice! Just a heads up though, the diamonds are really small!

I also tried on the one flower version (B4074900) and I think I preferred that one over the one you are getting.

thanks peppermint! everything depends on what it will look like in real life. if the ring is not worth it then i won't get it anymore and would rather get another non designer piece.

i've also changed my bracelet of choice (again). i decided to get 2 5 motif bracelets. a white MOP and the onyx. i really can't decide between the black or white so i'll get both.
i will also try on the magic as it has the white & onyx AND a gray mop but it depends how bothersome the dangly part will be.

a friend suggested i get a necklace but i don't like the 10 motif (and i can only choose to get it in 1 color).

but it's been really helpful with all the comments everybody posted here. thank you!

You definitely have to have a look in the store and play around with the pieces!

I have seen so many pictures of the Love bangle on this forum and when I finally saw it in real life, it was smaller than I imagined it to be! I think it's because everyone takes macro shots/close-up pictures so everything looks bigger than it really is.

VCA jewellery is so gorgeous - I wish they had a boutique in Australia! My only chance to see VCA in real life is if I go on holiday. One day!

If you have the chance, visit both boutiques before you commit to buying anything!

I really liked the one flower Orchid ring. It's funny because about three weeks ago, I was also looking at the Cartier Orchid ring collection and I couldn't make up my mind between the one flower, two flower or paved one flower ring. I can't afford the two flower paved ring :giggles:

I got the chance to try on both rings yesterday and they were both lovely. Maybe it's the more sensible side of me which is thinking but the one flower seemed more practical for everyday wear. The two flower is more of a special occasion ring. I don't think I could wear it everyday (that's just me though).

My SA said that more people have the one flower ring, whereas the two flower is more unique. I have yet to run into anyone with either of those rings!

I think it just depends on how often you plan on wearing the ring. And if you want something that is unique. Both pieces are gorgeous and you can't go wrong either way but because Cartier is not cheap, I would prefer to buy something that I could wear a lot.

I take into account cost-per-wear when I purchase clothes and jewellery so I would want a ring that I could wear everyday. I suppose you could wear the two flower ring everyday but I don't think I could do that personally. The one flower ring = no problem.

It all comes down to personal preference and what makes your heart sing at the end of the day.

If I could choose between Cartier and VCA, I'd get the VCA Frivole Between-the-Finger Ring over the two flower Orchid ring.
