Duchessofs...you are so right...I prefer to purchase from the store for obvious reasons (originality, appropriate price(?!), etc.) I believe that I've established a relationship with the SA at the Hermes store closest to my home and perhaps sporadic chances when in places like NYC, SF, France, etc may bring us luck...and yes, my wife will be a one birkin-bag lady, and this husband guarantees!!! SMILE!!!

I am keeping this blog saved as I want my wife to read it AFTER I capture ONE of those elusive birkins!!! Congrats to all those ladies that have already...share the wealth...let us some one too!!!

I have a feeling I know your store (because of the inventory you mentioned) and I have a feeling you'll get a call for a Birkin well in advance of 4 years!!! Just keep popping in when you can....they are pretty good there (if I got it right!).

I just came back FROM Paris and Italy...I bought 3 birkin bags in 4 days ... may be I' m BEEN lucky but ,I THINK PARIS IS STILL THE BEST ...
