I carry the audra. I get so many compliments, even when I went in to the coach store all the SAs loved it so. I had the alexia and I sent it back. It is so big and it doesn't hang (slouch) like the audra. You can still find the brown audra but you have to look around. You can probably find one on ebay for barely more than cost. They were flooded at one time. I just ordered the metal of honor site unseen. Interesting what you say about the ingrid. So it has a long handle and a short handle? I may like that better because I don't like a heavy bag. I'm thinking enough of the hobos and time for a tote. I went to my local boutique store becasue they were having a martini party for their customers. She doesn't carry IF but I think I talked her into it. Our town is small and there are no handbag stores, we have to go to portland or seattle, but there are a lot of women who carry awesome handbags and their are alot of woment who heed a handbag store here so they can rid themselves of their hideous handbags. I can't even stand it to see someone dressed like she's right out of the newest catalog and carrying an invisible handbag. How do we educate these people. It's not like our handbag isn't on our person every minute that we are out in public!

The alexia is no bigger than the large Kooba bags that are popular now. If u like big bag, this one is for u. I will try and have someone take a pic of my alexia on my shoulder. Its a beautiful big bag. I dont want u to miss out.

Wellll, I don't know if you can really call the Ingried a tote. It is still pretty big. The strap folds in half on one side of the bag, so you can carry it doubled or single and have it longer.
The dimensions are 15 W x 10 1/2 H x 2 1/w D.
It is a nice sized bag, hobo-ish in my opinion. The SA told me it's the kind of bag that you can wear with a t-shirt and jeans and you'll look like a million bucks.
I love the Metal of Honor "Ingrid Messenger" I have a SA at Saks on the lookout for one for me - but if I get the "Audra" and I'm really close - I won't get the "Ingrid" I read somewhere that the "Ingrid" has an "S & M" feeling about it - interesting point but wouldn't affect my decision - I like those zippers!! Meanwhile I'm wearing my Be&D Crawford and loving it but don't want to overwear it.

I am considering returning the "Ingrid Messenger"....I really, really, REALLY like my Audra and I again am feeling the $ guilt of having two sort of similar bags....so I will probably return it to Nordstrom before the end of my cc billing cycle. I too read last night about the "S&M" feel of the "Ingrid." I love the zippers....the only thing I really don't care for are the leads hanging from the zipper pulls. They are a pretty prominent feature on this bag. I tried to see how it looked with them tucked in (I know, I know, lol) but decided that defeated the whole purpose of the bag.
Once my black Kooba "Sienna" comes in from Neiman's I will have a brown and black bag for this season....and I will feel complete.

That's how I was as well when I ordered them last weekend. I was unsure how the Audra would hang on me....and how big or small it was. I knew that I would return one, I just didn't know which before I saw them in person. Turns out the Audra was perfect and the Alexia was HHUUUUUGE. IMO, I think the Audra is the more refined style of the two.
If anyone needs a pic of how the Audra hangs...I have one saved from ebay.
