Btw since people are mentioning SBC someone on the Japan expat reddit
Recently woke up during a surgery at one of their branches and had a weird experience regarding anasthesia. I go to SBC all the time for things like botox and hair removal, so I’m not anti SBC but just look on Reddit if you’re curious.
The Reddit post doesn’t name SBC specifically but you can tell that’s what they mean.
FYI SBC is a chain of many clinics through the country. It’s a huge “factory type” place with very competitive prices . I think a lot of doctors who open their own clinics eventually start out at SBC or TBC (the competitor chain) To get experience.
Neither of these chains will take foreigners who don’t speak Japanese , except for the Yokosuka branch of SBC.
