I'm glad I'm not the only one who ogles my ring.....sometimes I'm outside trying to snap the perfect photo......people that walk by must think I'm CRAZY!

My kids just say, "not again Mommy!!! or Are you looking at your ring again???!!!"

I agree with OP, the lighting in elevators are just perfect for staring at your diamond! I live on the 20th floor and SO is on the 11th, so I get lots of admiring time!

Restaurants are pretty good too at dinner time. Candelight, especially!

I like to look at my earrings in the sunshade mirror if I'm a passenger in the car. Weird, I know, but the sunlight makes the diamonds bling out ka-RAZY!!!

ME TOO. But you just did mention one I had not thought of...salon lights. Coupled with the awesome big mirrors at my salon I get into a trance while she's blowing my hair dry. It's kind of sad. I hold magazines, my phone, my hands in just the right way. lol

Yep salon lights are the best and I entertain my self by looking at my hands all the time, and the mirrors totally hypnotize me. You are quite accurate with your cat metaphor!

i like staring at my ring in the mall--the mall lighting is great. also, in restaurants while i'm eating, i notice my ring is super sparkly in there as well.

i try to look at my ring discreetly, though, as i get embarrassed if i catch someone catching me staring at my ring

I notice the sparkles of my tiny 3 stone antique ring when in in a dimly lit bar.It makes the diamonds look way bigger than they are!

I'm so glad I'm not the only one that loves to stare at my e-ring/wedding ring all the time. Funny enough, I find that the lighting in walmart makes my ring look huge and just sparkle like nowhere else.
