I actually think the lining looks great with this leather.
Yes gold HW. Perhaps "discord" was not the right word, a lot of the girls did NOT like this lining. They would not buy a bag with this lining and some even said they would be embarrassed if anyone saw it. I think it is kind of cool though.
LOL...people are funny...I see nothing wrong with the lining and didn't know people disliked it. True that with a MA bag if the front zipper is open, other people can see it. That kinda bothers me regardless of which lining it is. Enjoy your unique new bag shelby
It's a cute lining (when it's clean!)!! I wish RM stuck with just one lining....one that would be her 'signature' lining so to speak. But then again, many would not know which 'era' the bag came from if that was the case unless you really took a close look at the leather. If I had to chose one lining for her to have, it would be FDL......does not show wear and is silky to the touch!

Ticks all the boxes for me! Flap closure with a minimalist discreet turnlock, top handle, adjustable & removable shoulder/crossbody strap, roomy but not huge, baby soft raw suede interior, outside zippered pocket, awesome super soft TDF grained deerskin leather!!!
I just might be done looking at bags now!

Inspired by you and another PF member, I walked into a local Goodwill yesterday (just happened to be in the strip mall).....nothing. the thrift stores here seem to have almost nothing interesting in the way of bags and if they have anything of any value at all (an old Coach maybe) they price accordingly and put in a locked glass cabinet.
