The MAB is the original larger satchel (Morning After Bag aka overnight bag)...it slouches beautifully and doesn't really look as big when carried. The MAM is the 'mini' version of the MAB but there's really nothing mini about it. It's only a couple inches shorter, taller and wider than the original. I would compare them size wise to a Louis Vuitton Speedy 30 vs 25 if that helps??

excellent description...I would add that some of us feel the full size MAB fits a bit better on shoulder than the MAM
