I need this bag. Beautiful!
Love that others are getting into the mini Bs!
Your post inspired me to put in a bid on a gray Beloved on eBay.I actually went a little crazy and have 3 of them (black, navy, light grey)... don't plan to keep them all but also hard to decide.
I can’t really place what the smell is. It slightly smells like cigarettes I think, and like it was covered up with perfume. But all faintly but enough for me to notice. I put baking soda in there like you said. Hopefully it’ll help. What kind of smell? I’ve been able to get rid of most smells except mold and mildew. I put an open container of baking soda inside the bag, and then I close the bag up for about two weeks. Others have tried charcoal and coffee.
I bought a suede lined bag that had what seemed like a strong suede smell - not really bad but anyway - I sprayed the lining with alcohol and water mixture and set out in the sun, then set under a ceiling fan for a day or so. eventually the smell lessened.I can’t really place what the smell is. I'd be too nervous to spray alcohol in a bag. Over on the coach vintage forum, they recommend vinegar to kill off any spores. But vintage coach leather is different.I bought a suede lined bag that had what seemed like a strong suede smell - not really bad but anyway - I sprayed the lining with alcohol and water mixture and set out in the sun, then set under a ceiling fan for a day or so. eventually the smell lessened.

Do they leave any kind of odor?I have had good luck with these charcoal carbon things: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DB4RP8Q/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I tried Lovin' My Bags bag candies and they actually managed to get rid of the mold/mildew smell, but they left a minty odor. I'll take mint over mold any day, but I'd prefer my bags to smell like nothing or just leather.
oh, I’d love to see the navy! I have black, wine, distressed teal, a purple color, brown haze, and a full size in brown.I actually went a little crazy and have 3 of them (black, navy, light grey)... don't plan to keep them all but also hard to decide.
