I'm looking to get some stacking rings and have a color choice to make. Rings are my favorite jewelry; every day I wear my grandmother's engagement ring (3-stone diamond, middle finger right hand), two engraved silver poesie rings stacked (ring finger, right hand), and a Tiffany ring with a small aquamarine (middle finger, left hand). First question: For the blue/gold school, one should I get yellow sapphire, which would be a special order, or should I get another blue sapphire one? I could wear them as blue-yellow-purple or blue-purple-blue.

Second question: My mom is convinced that wearing any rings on my left hand, no matter what finger or design, will cause people to think I'm married, driving away all the eligible bachelors that would otherwise be asking me out. :rolleyes: Do you agree? :thinkin: I know what *I* think!

I know I like blue/purple/blue. I can't picture adding yellow sapphire in. I think wearing a ring on your left middle finger is fine. Not a solitaire though. Your stacks will be so colorful I don't think they'll look like wedding bands either.

Thank you! Yellow sapphire are pretty but maybe it is too much (esp. since I often wear colorful nail polish. And yeah, I was thinking stackables would look less wedding-like.
