yay congrats !! and i don't think it should, i just looked at my speedy 30's lock and my nano speedy and the nano speedy's d-rings are definitely wide enough to fit the lock. the lock never causes rubbing/damage to my speedy's canvas so i don't see why it would be any different on the nano. the only thing that may be of concern is the metal on metal; this is inevitable on ANYTHING, metal on metal will always naturally cause abrasion/erosion - but definitely post pics when you do it, would love to see it !!!I was fortunate enough to score a nano speedy and I absolutely LOVE this thread. I want to add my lock from my Speedy bag to one of the rings that holds the nano strap. Do you think it will cause any rubbing on either the canvas or the strap itself to the point where it could ruin it??

I will DEF put it on and see how it looks. This is my first bag from LV with so much vachetta I know that I have to be delicate because even a rain drop can ruin the bag from what i understood. My biggest worry was scuff marks. I will Have to post pictures
haha don't worry, i was in the same situation, all my bigger LV bags are all damier ebene so never had to worry about so much vachetta. but you can spray protect it !!! with apple guard or colonil carbon pro (i use this one - i heard apple guard works exactly the same, its just more about where you live and which one is more easily accessible for purchase). so now i use it without a worry !
Right now the lock is on one of the rings holding the strap on the side of my Neverfull MM DE, it's such a nice touch! Does Apple guard truly slow down the process of the vachetta turning the honey color??

i would say so ! a common misconception of protectant sprays is that it will completely stop the patina process, but that's not true, it just slows it down, but you have to remember to re-spray to coat the vachetta again every few months as well. highly recommend !!
okay the "final" reveal !! hot off the press !! just got the luggage tag hot stamped today and placed it onto my nano speedy- this is what i had envisioned the whole time for dressing up my bag, but i can't lie i was hesitant at first when i received the luggage tag and placed it on, i was scared it was overpowering the bag, but after i hot stamped it and placed it on, i fell in love all over again and felt like i made the right decision !!
Is that the large luggage tag or small one?
its the small one ! i think the big one would be almost the same size as the nano speedy itself LOL

i bought mine brand new from the preloved/resale market. that’s your best bet because LV boutiques will not allow you to buy luggage tags (as a repair item) anymore unless you have a keepall/luggage item

you can buy them from facebook resellers in LV facebook groups like reetzy ! i know some friends buy them off of ebay as well
