No, I have all of the card slots filled, plus some bills and a ton of change, and it still closes without a problem. This is my first Coach wallet that wasn't a checkbook wallet, and so far I actually like it better! It holds more and doesn't get anywhere near as bulky as the checkbook wallet does. The checkbook wallet only has 6 cards slots, whereas the Slim Envelope wallet has 12.
It wasn't in any of my 3 local boutiques, but I was able to go into the store and order it. And it was "only" $378, which was cheaper than both the Hippie and the Ali. I don't know whether you can order it online or not - I never actually saw it online. But you can definitely order it from a boutique.
You did very good with the wallet and the other piece. Would you get a pic of you modeling it. I love to see them been "worn". That may not be the word. Congrats!!!!!
If it was ever online, I never saw it. I only knew of its existence from someone else's post on tPF. But the canvas version has the same measurements as the leather version.
They made this smaller version of the Ali around the same time, but some people did not like it that it was only 2 inches wide and smaller. they do have a few more left as of this morning at distribution style 10327. Go for it...It is available in Whiskey, signature which I have and white. They are out of black.
