Measurements: 10"x9 1/4"x4" (the 10" is across the bottom of the bag) The top measures approx. 13 1/2 " across.

I hadn't really thought yet about spraying it with any protectant.

It doesn't seem as slouchy as Jane's large does it? I did have it pretty stuffed though. I think it will get more slouchy with use. What do you other med. Carly owners think?

Yeah, I was wondering about protectant too. I wonder how dirty this bag would get??? Anyone have the cotton bag from last Summer? Did it get dirty really easy?? I hate for my bags to look dirty. I'd have to spray it or something.
