So I don't have any cats or dogs, though I would like to, and I know they can't really photobomb because they are in a cage, but here's two of my furry fluff balls, Peekaboo and Persephone, checking out my purse I carried all this week.
Your fur balls are adorable!
I love guinea pigs! At one time we had 19! (Who knew you shouldn't let the father stay in the cage with his daughters?)

Your pigs need this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/321142440749?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

So cute!!! I always check them out when I go to the pet store. I've had gerbils before, but always really wanted guinea pigs. I love the noises they make!

He is the ideal no-maintenance pet. He lives in the backyard and feeds himself on the grass and any fruit that drops off the trees. I love his quirky little smile.

He is an adult but they never stop growing. His life expectancy is 100 years.
Aww Charlie is absolutely adorable *O*
A friend of mine has a pet turtle too except his lives in an aquarium indoors. I'm guessing winter is super mild where you are if Charlie can live comfortably in your backyard?

Thanks! He is a desert tortoise, not a turtle. When he was little, I kept him in a glass aquarium with a heat lamp. Now he is too big for an aquarium! I live in California so the weather is pretty mild. It is central California so it isn't as mild as southern Cal. We get a few freezing days in the winter.

The tortoises native to California live south of here and they hibernate in the winter. Charlie's breed is from Africa and doesn't hibernate. He has a burrow he dug in the back yard that goes pretty deep. He spends a lot of time in winter there - I imagine it is like a cave where the temperature stays pretty constant. When it rains or gets extremely cold, he comes up on the patio where I have a heat lamp set up for him. He rarely eats in the winter because his body temperature has to be warm enough for him to digest his food.

He predicts the weather! When he comes up on the patio, I know it is going to rain or get really cold. When he starts eating in the Spring, I know it is going to get warm.

Maybe he can replace the groundhog!
