I have had that exact box on my floor for at least six months - my female cat loves it and I don't have the heart to throw it out. I just put new tissue paper in there for her every so often.....

Oooooooh such a pretty girl! I have definitely been known to keep a box or 2 around because she takes up homage in them and I don't have the heart to get rid of her "forts."

Omg I'm not even a cat person, but this is adorable! He looks like puss in boots when he makes his innocent eyes (in Shrek)... :D

We have a turtle that's been in the family almost 60 years. My dad got it out of a pond when he was 10 and gave it to his mother for Mother's Day. He was with my grandparents until they moved out of their house into an apt, now it's with my dad who's 67 now.

Oh my gosh how COOL! Is it really big now? We kept the kids class turtles one summer. Not the easiest thing. One was an escape artist.

She's a small turtle, probably not even a foot long from nose to back of shell. Also an escape artist. Well once before my time. She got out, burrowed into a neighbors yard, and something bit off her tail & back foot trying to get her out. The first time we put another turtle of her kind with her, she bit it's tail off.

That is really cool. Not what happened but having it that long! Who knew they could live that long in a domestic environment...
