Stuck in Chelsea: Pippa Middleton drives into a spot of bother
The Duchess of Cambridge’s little sister had her BMW clamped in posh London street.
Never mind Made in Chelsea. Pippa Middleton was literally ‘stuck in Chelsea’ yesterday when her car was clamped.
Eyewitnesses told the Daily Mail that Pip’s posh BMW Z4 was clamped by a bailiff, close to where she lives.
Slightly embarrassing when the Duchess of Cambridge’s little sister has to phone up and pay her fine – not that it will make too much of a dent in her fabulously stylish pocket!
Pippa is soon to ditch the BMW for something safer, at her parent’s request.
Since rising to fame following big sister Kate’s wedding to Prince William, Carole and Michael Middleton are keen to step up security for their daughter and have offered to buy her a bomb-proof car.
A source told The Sun: “Carole and Michael have taken a raft of measures following advice from one of William's most trusted bodyguards.
“Pippa's car will have all the latest security devices, including armour plating. It will be bomb proof.”
Meanwhile, Royal fans recently had the chance to get their hands on Kate Middleton’s old run-around went it went on sale on eBay.
The blue Volkswagen Golf’s current owner, Sonny Brazil, explained: “I have owned this car since April 2009. The car comes with all invoices and bills including log book/v5, where I have document proof of the previous registered keeper, as stated Miss Catherine Middleton, the car was then passed onto her brother James Middleton.
“The car was sold/part exchanged to my father Al Brazil of Motor Carriage Co. I do believe this will be the best piece of Royal History anyone could have.”
