It's how you stored it. I have the same issue. I stored mine sideways instead of flat and the magnetic closure moved over which caused the flap to "wrinkle". I took it in and the SA said it will go away with time and use as the canvas will soften. It does bother me at times and I even considered selling it but I really like the look of the bag and just have to use it more often.

but it is the way THEY stored it - i received it for Christmas like this :(

Check out the Favorite thread in the clubhouse. This bag has tons of problems with major creasing (much worse than what you have right now). It's why I went with the Eva even though I really wanted this one. It may not be fixable.

Yes I've also heard of problems with this bag. I love the look of it but hesitate because of issues. I thought the problem had been fixed. I thought they are also releasing the bag in empreinte.

I'd return the bag for sure.

because my speedy had creased from the fold, but after a few weeks of keeping it stuffed, they softened, so i was thinking the same with this . . . and it doesn't help that my husband shops early

thank you so much everyone. for making me feel better and not "petty" about the bag.
i went ot LV here in palm desert and the same SA that helped me twice before was there and was so kind about the whole thing. didn't even mention that it was past 30 days.
he looked at it and said "i see that, that isn't good" and "you haven't even used it, lets get you a new one"

and my new one is made in france, my first MIF :)

I understand why you *waited* to exchange - because you were trying to see if the warped area would flatten with proper storage. So don't feel bad for waiting to exchange (as another posted had questioned the logic behind that).

Anyway, I'm happy you were able to exchange it and get another one that is perfect as the issue you posted was clearly visible. Congrats on your new bag, I hope you enjoy it!

thank you - i actually also didn't want to exchange it because when my husband bought my neverfull, he bought the GM which i exchanged for the mm as it was so large, then he bought me a speedy 25, which i exchanged for the 30b . . . so this was the first bag that he got perfect, so i did want to keep it . . . if only the bag didnt have that darn wave :(
