Yes, it seems like the canvas is tucked in instead. Do you think thats worse or better? I honestly do not know!
I have a Sac Plat PM(petite modele), and the Petit Sac Plat is basically a tiny version of my bag as seen from the pictures and the above video.
The bag is made of 5 FINISHED canvas parts(front and back, 2 sides, and the bottom). By finished I mean that each canvas part has a lining and it is turned under and sewn on all 4 sides. Then these 5 canvas parts are again sewn together to make a bag that is perfect on the outside and perfectly finished on the inside.
I am a sewer and so I understand why LV put it together like this.
It gives very crisp lines to the bag and structure.

Yes, I see that. Quite like french seam, no? I was just wondering if that meant something as to the durability of the bag, since it was pointed out.

Yes. Almost like a French seam. I think having had my bag for about + or - 6 years, I can see possible problems associated with corner wear and edge line wear if not somewhat carefully worn. But the Petit SP is so small that I think the corner wear will be less of an issue compared to my bigger bag.
My SP has no edge wear and no corner wear, but that's because I have only used it a handful of times, and I am careful with it.

I am the same with my designer bags- very careful and infrequent use. I do not foresee a problem with corner wear unless it spontaneously decomposes. According to the lady in the video, the petit aka nano SP is made of thicker canvas. Maybe that will help with durability.

Hey there, it launches tomorrow! You can preorder now! hope this helps.
If you want it and can pre-order, I would do it now. There is speculation the price will increase in the near future like with the multi-pochette. It seems all the designers like to see how a new product is received and if it is a smash hit, then they quickly cash in on the demand.

Yeah not cool though and especially if their initial release quantities are not even enough for people to buy. But thank you for the tip.

I'm not sure if this info is helpful, but I wanted to correct my above mentioned info.
I looked at my bag again, and it's actually made out of 4 panels.
2 front and back panels that extend to the bottom.

Your's looks great. I am not sure how the nano is constructed. Can't wait to get home- of all days to deliver- my one day of the week I go into the office for the day.
