Just ordered a passport cover to match my Speedy B35 Mon Mono and my Mini PA Mon Mono. My Mini PA and Speedy only have TW, but this felt off with only 2 letters. I think because the stripes are on an angle and don't split the initials. Anyhoo - no worry. I don't need to be that matchy-matchy.

I think I'm going to order one for my mom for Christmas. We have a cruise coming up in April next year and she'll enjoy having it stamped somewhere along the way.

As far as I know, every personalised item ever was always made in France. It would be interesting (and a weird move) if they changed that. I am curious.
Thank you for your reply! I called online, and they did say they are made in france. I spoke to two store sales associates and they both said--it is random--could be made anywhwere. TPF always has more accurate info! :)

Sometimes store people can share some very random info they just made up :D
I've been following the brand (and the forum) for lots of years, and I have never seen a personalised item that wasn't made in France. It would be nice if it was a gesture on their behalf, but I guess that they just installed printing machines only in a few French factories.

I agree—some store sales associates share info that isn’t always accurate! Thank you for clarifying! :)

Hey @boyoverboard, do you think you could share a photo of this great bag with the handle down whenever you get a chance? I'm trying to see how much of the initials get blocked by it? It looks like you're one of the few in this thread who has this size in mon monogram/my LV heritage. I've scoured this thread and haven't found any photos from this angle and on the virtual customizer on the Vuitton website it only shows it from an above view which isn't very helpful. I'm trying to decide on a size...do you find the 40 is too big for everyday; is it more of a travel piece?

Here you go! As you can see, the handle doesn’t block the view of the initials. I love this size, but I do usually use it as an overnight bag or a carry-on.
