I was purchased a felicie pochette last week in store and that’s my first time in store purchased and I would love to have a perfume sample so I can put in my bag, I was asking if they have perfume sample I can try on and the SA was refused to give me any , and I feel like the SA there was kind of rush though me even though I only spent like 30 mins in store , pretty disappointed in my first in store experience

They once sent me a box with samples of all the scents they did at the time, randomly, when I hadn’t even made a recent purchase. Never had any sent along with a purchase.

I would find a different SA. Either they didn’t want to bother or it was busy so they wanted to move to the next customer. Still, that doesn’t justify their treatment of you. I’ve asked for perfume samples twice, with 2 different SAs and they both hooked me up.

You will occasionally run into an SA you don’t care for. I have gone to 6 others because I can’t always get in with my 2. I didn’t like 1. I felt rushed and she seemed fake. I tried to build a rapport with 2 but they ghosted me so I stopped contacting them. There were 3 random ones that were great but wouldn’t change my SAs for.

My other go-to SA is the first one I ever had but it’s nearly impossible to see him anymore. I currently have a wonderful new SA and he’ll be my go to for awhile. He was randomly assigned to me during a recent visit and now I’ve already gone to him 3 times. He actually replies to my texts, and has been the only one to offer me an appointment. The last time I went I skipped the huge line. It was so nice.

TL;DR Go to a different SA until you find one you like.

I also think it depends on the SA. I remember getting shed loads of samples, 3 tray type box full with duplicates of men and women fragrances when I purchased a bag, coin purse and a bottle of perfume at Heathrow airport a while back. The SA was a newbie. At the time LV were pushing on perfume sales. Makes sense to give perfume samples or how the hell are they gonna persuade us to buy if we don't know how they smell. But then there were people wanting samples just to sell on .
