Pebbled vs Glovetanned Duffle?

Talked to Coach and was told they never had the 20 in pebbled leather. He's checking it out for me. But I found a duffle 20 in pebbled that was sold in the UK 7 months ago when I googled so they must have been made somewhere.
I have pebble 20 in Jasper, light turquoise and black. Funny Coach doesn't know their own products.

It’s possible that they weren’t available in Canada.
It could be the stores didn't get them, but they were all available online last year and usually JAX ships to Canada too.
The outlet has a similar pebbled duffle right now, it's not as soft as the glovetanned, but still gets slouchy. I got one for my mom. It comes with a short strap and a crossbody strap. It's called Abby and was around $99.

Beautiful bags. That black and jasper are right up my alley. I'm so surprised my found order came up short and there are none to be found on resell sites.
Thank you. You know if I'm remembering correctly the ones I ordered were online exclusive so it's possible they only made a limited amount? The regular size is still available, and I have 2 in that size, but just love the 20 size. I'm actually in Vegas now with the black 20, contemplating the 20 in smooth saddle...

Just want to revive this thread and see what people's thoughts are after having these bags for a while. I just bought the duffle 20 in the glovetanned saddle and am trying to decide whether to keep it or not. I'm usually a pebbled leather girl, but I have been loving the latest Coach Originals line. I've seen pictures of the duffle 20 in pebbled leather, and it looks like so soft and smooshy, whereas the duffle 20 in glovetanned leather looks more structured. For those that have had the duffle 20 in glovetanned leather, do you find that it has softened up over time and gotten more smooshy, or does it generally stay more structured? Also, have you gotten a lot of scratches on it, or how has it worn over time? Any thoughts (and pictures) would be greatly appreciated.

I’m curious about this as well. I notice a difference between the Coach 1941 smooth glovetanned leather and the Coach originals leather, the latter being much more structured and stiff instead of soft and supple. I have the courier hobo and I’m on the fence about keeping it for that reason. It does not feel as “luxe” as my 1941 bags.

Can I ask: Did you keep your Hobo?

I would say the quality of the Archival glovetanned duffles is very good and they slouch over time. When I bought the courier hobo I was shocked at how cheap it felt upon arrival. I returned it immediately.
