Pearls or Diamonds?

I still have my eye on that pearl I mean pearlssss!!! Lots of them LOL! Waiting for that trip to australia next year and I'll dive into an ocean of the most gorgeous australian south seas . Pearls around here are sooooooo expensive and I mean the ones that are almost perfect and flawless. ush:

DH has never been to australia and wants us to go on vacation there. I love love australia!!!! Ive been there quite a few times (sydney, brisbane, perth, melbourne, cairns----used to be a flight attendant so thats how i was able to travel)How sad that I wasnt into pearls back then. Now I know better. Would love for some advise from you for this much awaited tripAnd of course, places where to get my money's worth on pearls

I would choose diamonds for sure! Unless it was for a full necklace and then I would go with pearls. I would love a pear cut diamond pendant and a pair of round brilliant cut studs. But my BF prefers pearls. He thinks they are very feminine and sexy, so I receive a lot of those. I'm not complaining of course (he comes home with Mikimoto), but I hope to receive some diamonds soon
