I love pearls as well. I have a pearl ring that looks like the last one you have there, except it has 1 diamond on each side. Very simple yet elegant.

I love pearl rings, I have at least 3 of them.
one is yellow 18K gold with a ingle pearl
the other one is 18K gold with 10 pearls interlaced with diamonds
anoter one is st silver with a cluster of little pearls
I am also making a series of them with freshwater pearls of different shades set in sterling silver for everyday wear, so Yes, pearls are IN, at least for me
