Honestly I can't say I was shocked, but this is still incredibly sad. How awful it will be for those boys to only know their mom through pictures.

Another sad early death - is it just me or are an awful lot of celebs passing away before their time this year? I watched Charlie Wilson's War on the weekend and there was Phillip Seymour Hoffman and it just reminded me, plus L'Wren Scott - their families are just left with sadness and more questions

She's always looked terribly thin, and alongside the rumours of an eating disorder plus past drug use..sometimes the human body can only take so much - even when the individual is healthy and has stopped using.

Too early to speculate but still..its awfully sad. The photo of her and her mother........

Such a sad death. I'm so sorry for the sisters left behind. I truly hope that somehow Paula's three remaining daughters can pull themselves together after this shocking loss and go on to enjoy good lives that are peaceful and satisfying. Altogether too much tragedy in this family, particularly for Tiger Lily Hutchence.

I am very shocked and sad. She seemed like a good role model mother. She seemed to be a wonderful mom. I feel very sorry for her babies, her husband and the Geldofs and Cohans. The boys are lucky they had her in her life. They seem to be very happy babies. I feel very sad and sorry for their loss!

Unless she had a health problem that we don't know of, it's most likely drug related or suicide. A 25 year old doesn't just drop dead like that. So sad, how horrible for her children to grow up without a mom

Unfortunately, yes they do. Undetected heart problems are just one example that kill lots of young people. Blood clots are another.

Anorexia/bulimia could also be a possibility.

I read an article in the newspaper that mentions her "juicing" (only drinking fluid/blended veggies) as a suspected cause, as it can increase the chance of heart attacks.

I read that juicing diet theory in a Huffington Post article, and viewing her Instagram account with that knowledge makes me suspect an ED related death, too

She died exactly the same way her mom died. So sad. And she posted a pic of her and her mom the day before she died on instagram. So eerie.

I always enjoyed her articles for Nylon magazine. This is just sad...her poor kids
