Totally agree! Where possible, I will pay in cash.I prefer to pay in cash as credit card exchange rates are very bad. It makes quite a bit of difference if you are buying big ticket items!
i agree. the rate does make a difference though.but that is also a big amount of cash.Just curious,How much cash are you allowed to carry with you passing through the custom?or is there another way to get a big amount of cash in paris when you are traveling?I prefer to pay in cash as credit card exchange rates are very bad. Thanks for the infomation.i wouldn´t like the idea traveling with 10k in cash.and also dont like cc due to the rates.i guess using a euro debit account for shopping is the way that suits me the best. You would have to declare to customs if you are carrying more than 10,000euros. If you have more a few people travelling with you, just make sure its 10,000 each if you don't want to go through the customs declaration. Otherwise its a rather seamless process.
My Cousin is visiting U.S and she wants to buy a lindy and some RTW in the U.S and she is planning to pay by CASH and have the purchase posted under her name. Is there a limit for CASH payment?
